Who We Are

Dierdre Savage

Dierdre has thirty years of experience in real estate including design, construction, property management, and real estate investment banking and investment sales. Prior to her work in hospitality, she developed and managed over 200 affordable and market rate residential units in Boston and Cambridge.

Dierdre’s background includes four years at a Boston bank in its Real Estate Investment Banking Group where she was responsible for a portfolio of nonperforming assets (including hotels), completed the sale of a $350 million loan portfolio and managed a loan product for institutional investors to facilitate their acquisition of hotels and other assets.

Previous projects included, as a consultant for banks in Miami and San Francisco, managing over $200 million in nonperforming commercial real estate loans (several secured by hotel properties) resulting in significant recoveries, payoffs, and resolution of bankruptcy and litigation.

Dierdre received a B.A. from the University of Delaware and an M.A. from Boston University.

Bob Thomas

Bob has worked in the hospitality, development, historic preservation, and construction fields for more than twenty five years. Bob’s career in real estate springs from an interest in architecture of all kinds and a belief in the importance of design quality. As an independent developer, Bob has planned, developed and managed adaptive re-use and new construction hotel, housing and mixed-use projects throughout New England.

Bob’s earlier work included, as Development Manager of a development and construction company in New York City, several downtown Manhattan loft conversion projects. As Project Manager at a New York based restoration consulting and contracting company, he designed and implemented restoration plans for many major historic buildings and monuments, including New York City’s Grand Central Terminal, the Annapolis Naval Academy Chapel, and the Minnesota State Capital. Other projects included evaluating distressed commercial real estate loans for a Miami bank.

Bob received an M.S. in Historic Preservation from Columbia University in New York City, and his undergraduate degree from Colby College in Waterville, ME. Bob serves on the Board of Directors of Docomomo US and on the Advisory Committee of the Boston Preservation Alliance.
